Stable Tour

Sun Hill Lodges are based on the farm of the prominent racehorse trainer Ann Duffield and her husband – legendary jockey George Duffield MBE. If you are interested in horses and horseracing then why not take the opportunity to book on a stable tour?

You will have a behind the scenes tour of Ann Duffield’s racing yard. The tours usually last around 40 minutes and will take you through the stable yard introducing you to the horses, enabling you to congratulate any winners on your way through! Time and horses in training depending, you can watch the horses in the paddock warming up for the gallops and then going up the gallops; and have a look at the horses on the walkers cooling down.

We then head down to the Rehabilitation centre and have a look at the water treadmill learning the benefits behind the equipment and if you are lucky see a horse in action.

Stable tours cost £35 for up to 4 people and £50 for 5+ people.
